We’d like to give you peace of mind that the wellbeing of our guests and staff is our priority. In line with government advice, we’re taking measures to make sure you can enjoy a comfortable and safe stay with us.

How has our cleaning regime changed?

Arrivals and departures

Our check-in time has changed to 4pm so that our staff have some additional time to carry out the extended cleaning protocols ready for your contact-free arrival.

We kindly ask that you leave promptly at 10am on your departure day to ensure we’re able to get the cottage safely ready for the next guests.

Cleaning process

Our usual high standards and cleaning processes remain the same with extra care being taken to ensure we sanitise areas that are frequently touched or handled, such as door handles, appliance handles, switches and key safes. We’ll be leaving cleaning products in the cottages for you to use, including sanitising spray and hand wash.

In the lodge you’ll still find utilities and equipment for you to use and enjoy. While we’re keeping these available to you, it won’t be possible for us to sanitise each individual item or all areas of the lodge on every changeover, for example:

  • soft furnishing
  • welcome and information pack
  • books
  • games
  • leaflets

To manage this:

  • we’ve removed decorative cushions and throws from the beds
  • Removed throws and limited cushions on sofas
  • we have removed any books, games and leaflets
  • we recommend that you run the kitchen items on a dishwasher cycle or in hot soapy water before use
  • we recommend washing or sanitising your hands or equipment before and after handling equipment

If anyone begins to develop symptoms before your holiday, we'd ask that you please contact us using the contact information in your booking confirmation to discuss next steps and how to postpone your holiday.
